We did your first newborn session when you were only days a few days old, you were so good and you has the best newborn session, I even asked mom if you could come back to play again! So you did, and I am glad because we had just as much fun experimenting with newborn wrapping and creative newborn posing and I couldn’t get over your soft newborn rolls and chubby cheeks!
You’re mom and I talked about what it’s like bringing a newborn home and how much your big brother has enjoyed helping clean you up, changing your diapers and grabbing things for mom and dad out of their reach. Being a newborn photographer doesn’t stop at just taking newborn photos, we build relationships with parents and make them feel comfortable about our passion for small children handling their newborns and using newborn safety, listening to mom’s and dad’s when they are exhausted but just trying to make it through those first few weeks. Jacob, while newborn moms and dads are taking care of you and watching you grow before their eyes, they say two things, “I’ll never forget this” and “I never want to forget this” but during the busy days and sleepless nights there are some things are forgotten, and it’s not until they see their newborn photographs that it brings back those memories that were misplaced trying to remember all of your newest milestones like your first smile or the first time you rolled over.
