As a Virginia newborn photographer, I love getting to capture all the sweet babies that come into my studio. So when I do get to document twins?! Double the fun, bring it on, I LOVE IT! After their maternity session, I anxiously awaited the arrival of their twin babies. This twin lifestyle session was a dream!! I am so happy for this sweet family and cannot wait to see all their babies grow up!

So why a lifestyle newborn session?! If you’ve been dreaming of documenting those early days of your little one’s life, a newborn session is a great way to do that! There are two common ways to do that, a lifestyle newborn session or a fine art newborn session! And, lucky for you, I do both!! I have such a deep passion and love for both styles, I couldn’t just pick one!
So what’s the difference?!
For this twin lifestyle session, and any lifestyle session in general, it’s all about capturing the moments as they happen. There is less formal posing, and they happen in my lifestyle studio! Your clothes are typically not as “full glam” and the session tends to be more child-led with little ones.
A fine art session is more formal and posed from beginning to end. We bring out all the adorable props and set your little one up all cozy and comfy!
They are very different in style and final look, but I can GUARANTEE you will LOVE either style and be so thankful you documented your little ones’ life!
