Snickers Gap Tree Farm
This year, my Tree Farm Sessions will be at Snickers Gap Tree Farm, and it will be BEAUTIFUL! Located near Bluemont, Virginia on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this family-owned tree farm is unlike anything else! With over 36,000 trees, you will get the timeless holiday photos you’ve always dreamed of, and you can scout the perfect tree for your holiday festivities!
These Tree Farm Sessions will be so much FUN! They are meant to celebrate the holiday season, celebrate your family, and bring everyone together. I want you to experience the joy and magic of your family, and have fun with each other. Laugh together, smile together, and savor the precious memories you are creating. While I will help guide you into poses, it’s the candid moments that I aim to capture. The moments that authentically happen within your family that you can cherish forever!
What To Wear
When you book any session, one of the questions I always get is what to wear?! It can be overwhelming, but I’ve got you covered! As always, please AVOID all bright and neon colors, busy patterns, or graphic shirts with words. We want the focus to be on YOU, not what you are wearing! Cozy sweaters, henley’s, dark jeans, dresses, knee-high socks for babies and toddlers, simple brown and black shoes for the guys, and any cute winter hats or scarfs will work GREAT!
Remember, dress in layers! While it may be a little warmer upon arrival, it might cool down as you are waiting or throughout the session. If you need help finding outfits, I would love to help! Choosing a color palette for your family is EVERYTHING, and paying attention to details will make a HUGE difference.
