I have been lucky enough to photograph this sweet family for multiple years, and each time we have the BEST time. Play, Play, Play
My number one tip for family photos?! Embrace the chaos! Family photos are meant to be fun, and stress-free, and did I mention FUN?! Let the kids be kids! Have fun with them, play around with them, run around together, and encourage all the silliness. When you let go of the idea that everyone has to be stiff, with forced smiles, facing all the same direction, your family photos will be MAGIC!
Be in the moment with everyone! This is time set aside for you to enjoy your sweet family and celebrate this little moment together. Hold your babies close, give your partner an extra big hug, and embrace your kiddos in a big hug. You will want these moments back!
What To Wear
Another one of my BIG tips for family photos?! It’s all in what you wear! Avoid dressing your little ones in stiff fabrics that are hot and uncomfortable. Find something you KNOW they will love and can have fun in. And some goes for parents!
