This recent Family Portrait Session is especially close to my heart. This particular client is none other than my high school best friend, a woman I’ve treasured through so many seasons of life. She and her family have trusted me with so many precious moments.
The very second I found out she was pregnant, I stepped in proudly with my camera. Together we documented her maternity, birth story, newborn snuggles, and all the milestone moments in between. And now here we are, 6 years later, capturing her growing family once again. This time as her daughter proudly shows off a classic toothless grin – her two front teeth freshly missing.
Not wanting to forget this stage of their daughter’s life, her parents were so excited to highlight this tiny detail during our time together. That in-between moment when baby teeth are no more, and big-kid smiles are just around the corner. It is the perfect reminder that you don’t have to wait for a major holiday or milestone to document your family!
Sometimes the most important parts are the little things you didn’t know you’d miss. A toothless grin, the boundless laughter, even just the way your little ones look up at you.
