I absolutely adore newborn sessions, however, baby milestone sessions in the studio are my next favorite! Something about these baby sessions that pull at my heartstrings and I love documenting them. Around 6 months our the most common milestone is sitting!! Sitter sessions are full of giggles, smiles, and known to have a few escape artists – also known as crawlers (ha!). Many parents come in not knowing what to fully expect during their baby’s milestone session.. how will my baby do? Will he cry? will he smile? … But I’ve found that the more relaxed you are, the more relaxed your baby is and that was definitely the case with Teddy! Mom and Dad were there to help get smiles and laughs and its nice to have helping hands for your baby with someone that is familiar. 🙂
*Milestone sessions should be booked at the newborn session to reserve your littles ones milestone sessions on the calendar in advance.
•4 months (rolling + pushing up)
•6-7 months (sitting up unassisted/crawling)
•9 months(standing)
•12 months – First Birthday session! I highly encourage a family session outdoors to celebrate your baby’s first birthday!
