Nothing makes me happier than capturing the full heart of your family – and yes, I’m talking about Bring Your Pup Portraits! These sessions are designed to welcome your four-legged family members into the studio with open arms (and open treat bags, of course).
Your dog is a huge part of your family’s story. They comfort you, join you on vacations, and even snuggle up during cuddles. So why leave them out of your family or newborn photo session? Whether you have a gentle senior pup or a bouncy ball of energy..
Our studio is ready for them!
To make sure the session is fun and relaxed for your pup, I suggest bringing a few of their favorite things: a squeaky toy, some high-value treats, or a cozy blanket they love. For dogs who tend to get nervous in new spaces, naturopathic calming chews can work wonders and help them settle more easily.
If your pup is strong-willed or gets overly excited around new people, we kindly ask that you bring a family member to act as a handler. That way, your pup can step outside for a break if needed. There’s plenty of space to explore around the studio for a little pre-session walk or wiggle break!
Arriving 5-10 minutes early gives your dog a chance to sniff around, settle in, and feel comfortable before we start snapping photos. We’ve found that a tired and relaxed pup makes for the most heart-melting family portraits.
The best part? Many clients return every year with their dog in-tow for updated portraits as their family grows and changes. I love seeing my clients in so many phases of life, their fur-babies included! These photos become treasured keepsakes, capturing not just the faces you love, but the wagging tail that’s been there with you..
every step of the way.
Ready to book your own Bring Your Pup Portraits? I’m here to help celebrate the whole family – paws, tails, and all!
