The truth is that maternity sessions are much more relaxed than most people expect, and these behind-the-scenes moments give a glimpse into what the experience is really like.
Creating a Comfortable Experience
The goal of every maternity session is to help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. From choosing outfits, helping book makeup and hair, to guiding poses, I walk couples through each step so there’s never any pressure to know exactly what to do. During this session, we focused on natural interactions, simple movement, and genuine connection rather than stiff posing.
The result was a collection of images that felt authentic to this growing family while highlighting the excitement of welcoming a new baby.
